Loved it till the leash either was sliced or torn.
Leaving a five star review because even though I had it for a very short amount of time I did like this leash. A couple weeks into using it though my Pit Corso was on a walk and a young pit bull pup got aggressive and Enoch wrapped the leash around a pole sign once and it snapped, was cut or sliced. I cannot tell what occured honestly and I will not blame the manufacturer when it could have and probably did have nothing to do with the construction or quality. Enoch is 100lbs of brute strength when he is scared or excited but I have a hard time believing he could have snapped this leash the way it came apart by brute strength. I am leaning toward it getting caught in something sharp that cut it then along with his strength it gave way. Going to tear leash handle apart just out of curiosity to see if I can see anything else and will update if I ever know for sure.Overall a well made easy to operate comfortable retractable leash. Iâm ordering another so that should tell you what I think of the leash!

No reason to pay double!
I have two 60lb Standard Poodles. I have had two of these leashes since April ’23. Both perform quite well. They are sturdy and they are fast two retract when unlocked. The locking and unlocking took a little getting used to because the “Big Box” store brand that I had before located in the opposite direction. After a few walks you develop a new muscle memory and no more problem.The lead does not tangle when retracting and the hardware is robust. No reason to pay double for this type of leash at the store.

Nice leash but it isn’t reflective
I received the leash and used it the following day. The rubber handle makes my hand sweat. I like that it came with a bag holder but I don’t like it swinging and clanking the leash housing but I can deal with it. The leash rolles out smooth and retracts easily, no issues there. The leash description says it’s reflective but it isn’t at all. It’s just like not even there so that’s a fail if your looking for that to be visible on your evening walks. I don’t like I have to keep pressing the lock to make sure the leash locks in place. It takes a few times. Otherwise it works well. The things I don’t like are minor for me and I’ll keep it.

I ordered it wanting to make sure Grizzly was going to be safe and I feel itsa great harness for him and the length was perfect and color and have the little bag holder was great. I also feel it was made very good.

Smooth, sturdy and spectacular
After our AKC leash broke i was about to just reorder one and then started reading some reviews about how they were having quality issues and locking up, which is what happened to mine. I found the Tuff Pupper and the reviews talked about the non-tangle flat cord, the easy functioning buttons and decided to give it a try. This thing is awesome. Super solid construction, smoothest intake/outake I’ve used for a leash, and so far (2 weeks in) just a really great product. Hoping it holds up well, as i’d grab a second for traveling with our Spinone. Seller was super fast and beat estimated delivery date as well, so all that you can hope for these days. [thumbs up]

Great Leash! Better than my old KONG brand!
It’s been a great product. The OCD side of my personality appreciates the little tab that keeps the leash from folding or flipping as it retracts. The trigger lock takes a little getting used to but seems very solid and fairly easy to manipulate with either hand. The one issue I had was the poop baggy holder would bang back and forth and made my dog nervous for the first several walks until she got used to it. It’s still a little distracting; I wish it was build into the handle. Other than that it’s been great! Would buy again anytime!

Terrific sturdy leash
So far this is a phenomenal leash! As you can see by the photos, it fits perfectly in my hand. Has a nice soft feel to it. The button to brake, lock and unlock the leash is nice and big and very easy to manipulate. My dog is an 80+ pound pit bull mix and extremely strong. She’s also quite dog reactive. This leash is able to handle her with no problems thus far. Highly recommended!

Snapped when my 85 lb dog ran after a deer
This leash is NOT safe for dogs that are 85 lbs and prone to chasing things. This one lasted barely ten days before it snapped (she had not chewed it and weakened itâit snapped completely due to force).My pup saw a deer and ran full tilt at it, snapping the leash. The force of the snap back caused the leash (nylon part) to hit me in the face hard. Thankfully, the clip and some lead was still attached to my dog and did not hit me.My dog, however, spent thirty minutes running through forest in pitch black night, with me chasing her. She ended up in the old lagoon on our property, happily frolicking through twenty year old poop sludge while my partner and I chased her.I cannot express to you how much I regretted purchasing this leash when that dog shook her fur after coming out of that poop sludge and proceeded to cover my partner and I in it. I cannot tell you how much I regret purchasing this leash now, as I am faced with sanitizing an entire bathroom where we had to sluice poop juice off our dog for nearly half an hour.I have regrets, but you donât have to. If you have a dog with prey drive, do NOT purchase this leash.

J’avais pas vérifié la grosseur,.mais plus gros que je pensais. Donc, convient très bien au gros chien.Semble très robuste et de qualité.Vient effectivement avec la pochette pour les sacs pour ramasser les “cacas” du chien et il y a même quelques sacs deja, mais il est noir et non mauve..Pas très grave.. c juste que j’aime le mauve
