    Good present
These were a present for my 14 month old nephew, whose parents do science stuff. He enjoys them, and they are pretty cute. The blocks are the same size as other Uncle Goose blocks – I also bought the nursery rhyme ones – so once he gets a little better at building, he’ll be able to combine them to make larger structures. They are well-made, the colors are nice, and I appreciate that they are made in the US and don’t have any weird chemicals, so we don’t have to worry about the kid or the dogs gnawing on them. They seem pretty sturdy, and haven’t gotten too scuffed up despite a couple of months of being in the active toy rotation, with a toddler who enjoys using them to stack, knock down, throw, chew on, etc.

    Everyone loves it.
Everyone said it is the perfect gift from someone who loves science and wants to give a science-y gift. Perfect for a science teacher as well, was told that they can be something to put around a classroom to get middle school aged children to talk about the elements.

    Such fun blocks
I bought these more so for me than for my toddler but we both love playing with them together. I stack them up while reading off the elements on each one and he loves knocking it over. The block are a little smaller than I expected but I think they are a good size for easy storage.

    …..this is a hard one…..
So….. this is ONLY a set of 20 five sided blocks. You will need to purchase 6 WHolE SETS IN ORDER TO BUILD THE ENTIRE PERIODIC TABLE. which is expensive at over 30$ a set…Thankfully, my son had family who each bought one for a birthday collab gift to make the whole set for him And these blocks are WONDERFUl for my 4 year old kiddo to play with. He’s autistic and has savant syndrome so he memorized the periodic table after hearing the periodic table song by asap science 4 times. He was obsessed from there so when I saw these blocks I HAD to have them. There aren’t many periodic table toys for toddlers as obviously most toddlera don’t care at all for this stuff. First I bought the one set of 20 and we loved them. But my son didn’t play with them AFTER THE FIRST DAY because he was frustrated that he couldn’t build the periodic table fully with them. Unfortunately that made it a gift not really lasting in fun. Until A few months later when we got all 120 elements by having 5 more sets of the blocks and building it took 1.5 hours to put together. With little help from my kiddo. He just excitedly danced around singing as we searched for the blocks and he told us what we needed next and what number was what md the letter abbreviations to look for etc.. and etc.Because of his age and autism though, He doesn’t care to sit and FIND anything by looking on multiple sides of blocks for even 5 minutes, let alone 2 hours…. so by himself, HE DOESNT OFTEN touch these blocks. Its too tedious because each block has SEVERAL elements on it and he doesn’t have the patience. But With an adult playing with him. They’re one of his favorite toys. We’ve built the table in its entirety twice now. But it’s very time consuming each time. And we mostly build it while he sings and repeats everything. One more thing…. the element groups? They do not at ALL all correspond by color properly and it bothers my family. All alkali metals should be the same color. All noble gas, the same. All halogens the same color. And so on and so on. The fact that they are not the same color is what makes it ak difficult to out this darn full table together. So is it Worth having?I think so. But that’s for us because of my special kiddo who LOVES the periodic table. With a passion. But For most kiddos? Probably not unless they don’t care whats on the blocks and are just building towers to knock down. They are pretty lightweight. Kindof sharp. But not heavy really. So for play in that case, these are some VERY expensive blocks to be using to just do that. Plus there’s only 20…If uncle goose came out and made these blocks with single elements on each block? I’d buy it in a racing HEARTBEAT! (Probably) (not in a pack of only 20 though.)Hope this review helps some parents out there. We enjoy these blocks bottom line. But my son EQUALLY enjoys a printed picture of the periodic table he can sing along to…. so…. I dunno. Hard to say definitively whether I fully recommend.

I have to say this is a very good product and I admire what uncle Goose does for kids, unfortunately due to standard packaging (without bubble wrap or similar thing), one of the block was damage and chipped away. I think for such price it should have been packed better as deliveries as often they don’t take extra care for packages.overall still a good product and thanks for making them.
