The clean way to comb your dog.
Fits well on my Dyson. My dog absolutely loves being vacuumed. No hair flying about the house, it all just gets sucked up into the vacuum.

Fits with vacuum
This fits and works well with the vacuum, so thatâs great, but itâs not going to work if your dog or cat is terrified of the vacuum itself. Itâs straightforward and easy to use. It clips in with ease and includes some coupler mods if you need them. The suction through the attachment is good. Just my dog is afraid of the vacuum, so the usefulness of this for me is limited. That said, itâs not the fault of the product that my dog is terrified, so I did not remove any stars for that.

This attachment didnt quite meet my expectations, as it seems that the vacuum feature doesn’t do anything until you turn the brush in to get the hair off of the brush feature. That is nice, but isn’t revolutionary. The head itself grabs hair as well as our other tools, but I was hoping for a bit more suction to gather excess loose hair throughout brushing. The head seems to scrape my pups skin in a way that other brushes don’t – as I can see her skin rippling when I brush. It doesn’t seem to bother her a lot, but if your pup has sensitive skin, it could be a concern.

I will be honest that I was very skeptical about this Dyson compatible dog grooming tool based on my past experiences. The tools I’ve tried before have never been able to really brush my dog as well as other purely deshedding/brushing tools and are usually bulky or loud which makes it impossible to even go near my dogs with. This attachment though is legit! I was able to quickly attach it to my Dyson V15 and sit next to my dog while brushing her and easily hitting the button to suck up the fur coming off her coat. She was not scared at all and showed no signs of discomfort or anxiety as she normally would. The hose length is a nice plus as well so that I can have the vacuum out of the way while brushing so that it doesn’t scare her away. I was very impressed with how much deshedding this attachment actually provided and the ease of which you can clean out the tool with a simple push of the button. Will certainly be using this every week now to help cut down on all the shedding across our house!

YES!!! This is just what I needed
Anyone who has a German Shepherd knows they shed an insane amount every single day. Mine is solid white and therefore so is everything in my house. Hair everywhere! I vacuum my hard floors to try to get it all up since sweeping just scatters it. The second I put the vacuum away I see big clumps of white hair right where I just finished vacuuming. It’s a never-ending cycle.My dog is scared of the vacuum so I figured this was going to be a flop. Surprisingly, he sat still and allowed me to brush him with the tool. It gathers on the comb and with a press of a button gets sucked right into the canister. I am so excited about having this tool to keep the dog hair under control. If you are in doubt, just buy it and give it a try. I really thought my dog would freak out but he didn’t mind at all. I think he even enjoyed his little pampering session. It must be the floor attachment for the vacuum that scares him and not the noise since he did fine with this.The Portek Dog Hair Vacuum Attachment for Dyson came with everything needed to hook it up to my V8 Stick Vacuum. It includes two different attachments. You choose the correct attachment based on what type of vacuum you have. The hose is plenty long. I held my vacuum as far away as I could in the beginning to try not to scare my dog. After I saw that he was comfortable with the noise I didn’t bother stretching it so far. The materials this kits is made of feel like they are excellent quality and will hold up over time. I am thrilled with this purchase.

Nice flexible hose and grooming brush comb attachment for the Dyson vacuum, I have the powerful Dyson Outsize (as-well as a Dyson V7), the hose clips onto my vacuums perfectly exactly like the real-brand name attachments, you do need to use the adapter with the red buttons for proper fitment (included), the hose feels sturdy, and I didn’t notice any whistling, it also includes a Velcro strap to fix the button trigger which will keep the vacuum running while using the hose / brush.My dog is not scared of the vacuum, so I could run it while brushing directly sucking up the fur as it’s removed, the metal comb does a great job removing clumps of fur and loose fur from shedding (I have a husky), it also worked great on my cats (with short fur), you can also use the brush standalone to collect the fur then suck up the fur as a final step, the comb attachment also works great to remove fur from cars and some fabric, the comb can retract and lock closed to keep it safe in storage.The hose can also be used standalone and can detach from the comb attachment, I like to use it to clean vents and around the trim and other hard to reach areas, so I think it’s a useful attachment with many uses from pet grooming to general cleaning.for cons, wish it didn’t need the adapter since I can see misplacing it eventually, I may tape it to the hose so it can’t get accidentally detached and lost.Overall I highly recommend, nice build quality.

Deshedder head for dogs and cats! Vacuums hair away immediately as it is brushed off
This grooming took that attaches to Dyson vacuums is outstanding! It allows you to deshed with your vacuum attached meaning you can keep working the brush without stopping every stroke to clean the hair off. Huge time savings and seems to work well. You’ll want to use a vacuum that has a switch to on rather than a trigger otherwise using this becomes a two person job. Otherwise, fantastic attachment and comes with a hose and adapters as well. Absolutely recommend!

Portek Dog Hair Vacuum Attachment for Dyson V8
This is a good fit for my Dyson V8 and the connection is secure. I have used this to brush out my long haired Great Dane to get rid of the summer coat, and found that the suction on the tool leaves room for improvement. While the brush does loosen the fur and prepare it for suction into the canister, I find that the suction throughout brushing doesn’t quite pick up all the loose hair that doesn’t stick to the brush. It still leaves my living room a little messy and I have to clean up again.
