Mild, lots of lather, smells great and rinses clean
Iâve had seven dogs over the past 50 years and have alway dreaded bath day. This shampoo has changed all that. This shampoo is so easy to use ( just be sure to get a small squirt bottle to put it in). It lathers great, smells terrific, and rinses out easily. My golden retriever is very allergic and this soothes her skin and she has no negative reaction to it. Iâve included a couple pics of her during and after her bath. I think she looks great. She smells like lemon balm and her fur is so silky. I also love that it has lots of good stuff in it for her skin, including organic ingredients. I can highly recommend this product ððð

This shampoo is awesome. It is easy to apply and rinse. I will recommend you letting it sit on your dog for few minutes and then rinse and repeat,Excellent product for sensitive dog skin! Perfect dog shampoo. Significantly reduced itching of my Dog and its coat appeares more healthy, soft and shiny after only using it twice. I am so happy that I dont have to use anymore harsh chemicals on my Dog and getting worried how it affects him!. Chemicals in the past gave my dog serious case of dermatitis. He was itching and visibly feeling bad…but this shampoo really change my life and his too !!The ingredients are nice and simple, and mostly natural, which is nice. It doesn’t contain . It is made in the USA, so no shady Chinese chemicals!My dog in general has problems with allergies and has very sensitive skin, and this shampoo seems to eliminate dandruff and help her stay less itchy and develop fewer rashes. It smells very good during the bath and while she’s wet, and has little to no odor once she’s dry. It makes her fur very soft, which is surprising since she has very short fur. The softness lasts about a week or more!We just Love It ! I highly recommend it and will continue using it !

I purchased this shampoo because I wanted to have something natural without anything other than shampoo. It is thin consistency which I love and makes more than adequate suds. My Westies hair came out soft with his skin moist without dryness, which made him scratch. There is a mild scent and not overpowering. I have finally found a regular shampoo without worrying about affecting his skin.

I order this pet shampoo because I have a golden retriever that developed sensitivities to her old shampoo. I choose this product because of the good reviews and because they use organics. I have to bathe my dog pretty regularly because she is a therapy dog and has to be clean to make therapy dog visits. Since receiving this product I have given my dog three baths spread over a four week period and so far my dog has had no reaction to it. This is a different sort of shampoo being very thin, almost like water but once on the dog it suds up very nicely and is rather easy to rinse off. I live in the southern U.S. and as often as the weather permits I bathe my dog outside. I did notice the rinse water seems to have a white film on it that sticks to the top of the grass and I am not sure if that is from the oils or something else in the shampoo. My dog is clean after using this product, so clean in fact that her fur squeaks when I am rubbing/rinsing the shampoo out of her coat. The only negative I can share is the smell of the shampoo. While it is not horrible, it does have a sort of medicine smell to it that is hard to describe. The good thing about it is that once the shampoo is rinsed off, the smell of it is not strong on the dog, does not linger in the house and will likely be gone entirely by the next day. I will order this product again and recommend it to my friends who have dogs.

I am truly shocked!
Iâve been searching for a dog shampoo that is natural. Folks, this is seriously it! I wasnât sure that pure soap was the answer to cleaning and conditioning my Morkieâs sensitive skin. All of the shampoos Iâve tried prior to Vermont Soap Pet Shampoo have only made him scratch more. It takes very little product to create the clean smell and lather, so this bottle will last a long time. It washes out easily and he is so shiny and fluffy and there has not been one instance of itchiness. Thank you Vermont Soap for the best product Iâve ever used!P.S. I donât understand the negative reviews, specifically about no lather and terrible smellâ¦??? In my case, that is just not the experience we had at all!

The smell was nice out of the bottle, but after my puppy was dry, it left a residue and the smell was not pleasant. I canât pinpoint what it was like, just not good.
