Works great but dries the skin a little
This product right out of the box smells great works great lathers well and leave my Pitbull clean and rash free. The only issue may be how well it cleans, can leave the skin a little dry so after a bath I moisturize my Pit and since we switched to this shampoo he hasn’t been showing signs of itch anymore from allergies. So other than the dry skin this shampoo is exactly what I hoped it would be.

****update*** a friend brought it to my attention that Tea Tree oil can be toxic to dogs depending on the concentration. I have called this company to find out the concentration and they reported less than 1% tea tree oil which is not a toxic dose but caution all dogs react differently. I have small dogs and I wasnât willing to risk it so this product has been returned. Hence the new rating *** My dogs have seasonal allergies and this shampoo seems to help lessen the scratching. I wet the dog put some shampoo on them and then add water to make it suds up and work it into their coats. They also have itchy paws so I put a stopper in the drain and let the dogs stand in the soapy water during the 3-5 minutes of recommended wait time.It does take some work to rinse it out of their coats and paws depending on how soapy the dog was. This shampoo isnât fragrant and doesnât leave their coat as soft or nice smelling as other products but it is a trade off I am willing to make right now to end the scratching cycle.

I have a highly allergy sensitive white boxer. He gets Cytopoint injections to help reduce his allergy reactions. In addition to that, I’ve been using VetOne’s Ketohex Shampoo which unfortunately is no longer available on Amazon. I did some research and found that although this shampoo doesn’t offer the antifungal properties, it is made with a combination of natural ingredients that I was interested in giving a try. It’s only been a few hours since his bath but he has itched much less than he was before his bath. The shampoo is a clear formula. I read reviews about it’s scent and not leaving a “wet dog” smell like others do. I can say this was probably one of the highlights in making this purchase! Usually, my boy has that smell for quite a bit after his bath and even leaves the bathroom smelling like it also. Not with this stuff! No lingering smell! Looking forward to seeing how this works on him long term.

Fa abbastanza schiuma ma è facilissima da sciacquare via, non dà fastidio al viso del cane . Sembra funzionare, già dopo il primo utilizzo il mio bulldog si è grattato e leccato meno . Lobito tiene problemas de piel y en estos dÃas han húmedos, sobre todo después de haber estado en la playa, le dan brotes en varias zonas del cuerpo. Le he pegado un baño con este champú y se ha dejado de rascar y morder. Se nota ese aroma natural que desprende pero nada fuerte ni desagradable. Huele a perrito limpio, sin más.La textura es lÃquida y con muy poco forma bastante espuma, por lo que en perros grandes como el mÃo da para muchos baños. Overall a pretty good product, helpful with relieving itchiness for my dog. The smell is herbal — minty and eucalyptus-like. Doesn’t lather all that much but we all know lathering doesn’t do anything — it’s just an ingredient added to make consumers feel they’re “cleaning.”I bought this for my senior dog, who was suffering from severe skin rashes, yeast buildup and sores. He was allergic to grass — I say “was” because just weeks later I had to put him down 🙁 This shampoo helped make his last weeks more comfortable. Immediately following each bath, I noticed a significant reduction in scratching and paw-licking. Unfortunately his health had deteriorated so badly, nothing could’ve really saved him but at least this provided some relief.I would recommend this product for dogs with sensitive skin and/or allergies. There are lots of strong chemicals out it’s not really a far stretch to imagine some of these chemicals might have adverse effects on dogs — especially smaller ones considering their weight relative to the concentration of pesticides, etc. My old dog’s paws would flare up especially after a round of grass treatment outside my apartment.I have used other brands of shampoo and I can say this is one of the best out there. I used harsher shampoos that promised to wipe out dermatitis but I always felt a little bad putting my dog through such treatments. This brand of shampoo is more gentle, but equally effective. Dog smells much better after a wash, without that artificial smell you get from commercial shampoos.Product arrived in a timely fashion. Nicely packaged. Would buy from again.
