Fantastic tool! Safe to use and not loud
Super easy to use, noise is minimal and bearable – it will scare any dog at first but positive reinforcement and a good treat will do the trick. They get used to it overtime. The tool doesnât get too hot – wonât hurt your dog. The nails do smell as they get grinded so donât worry, ð it is normal. The battery length is impressive. I have had mine for over a year and havenât charged it once. Build with quality parts, durable. 2 speed settings. Let your dog smell it first and get familiar with the sound. Peanut butter helps!

Didn’t work as expected
I got these for my puppy to eliminate the possibility of cutting the quick when I trim his nails (which is traumatic for both my pup and I!) These were really quiet, which was nice as they didn’t scare my pup, but they took a long time to file down the nail (I trim his every two weeks so they weren’t long). Tried all speeds and none filed them very fast. My pup wouldn’t have had the patience to sit through all his claws (nor, honestly, would I).

Overall good
Overall it works well. It would be helpful if it came with a course grinder to quickly remove excess nail and a fine grinder (included) to final shape. Battery life is good. Not too loud.
