Great shampoo
I doubted the Whal 4:1 reviews but they are spot on. Most importantly, clearly the pups love the way they feel post bath. The shampoo lathers and cleans deepâ¦.it gets everything, rinses without residue and makes bathing noticeably easier. Post drying their skin is fresh/lightly moisturized, fur is soft & fluffy and the smell is a pleasant light lavender.
Additionally, Iâve started bathing the pups myself as the groomers would routinely mess up, I feel this is a healthy solution and would highly recommend. Id say itâs better than most human products. FYI, the photos were taken the day after bath time , after a playing in the park.

My bottle was delivered without leaks. My puppy smelled sooo good after I used this on her. And that lavender is so calming. She whined a little when I first put water on her but after lathering she calmed right down. She wasn’t thrilled with having to take a bath but she did mello out. Afterwards every time I ran my hands through her coat, which was soft and fluffy, I got another whiff. Will continue to buy as she seems content & clean, no excessive scratching or irritation. Best dog shampoo I’ve tried
I have two Labradoodles, and anyone who has one knows the hair is notorious for matting! I’ve tried so many expensive and specialized shampoos and conditioners, but was never really impressed by any of them. It’s such a hassle to bathe them, I wanted to drop the second step of conditioning, so I started using a shampoo and conditioner in one that was specifically for doodles, but it was over $20 for a 16oz bottle.
I came across this Wahl shampoo and thought I’d give it a try since it’s so much more affordable and it’s great!!! It even prevented the whole house from smelling like wet dog after I bathed them! The scent is light, but they still smell just washed fresh a day later. Their fur is soft and not tangled. Neither of them have a sensitive skin issue, so I can’t speak to that, but it certainly didn’t irritate their skin. Great product!!

Smells nice. Lathers well. If you just want to wash your pet, this is awesome. It doesnât help with any skin conditions your dog might have- youâll need a different product to help with that. For a great basic shampoo, highly recommend.

It’s a good shampoo, I use this on my two shihtzus… This keeps them clean for about 10 days after wash, it has improved their fur softness and also one of my dogs who did not like bath time previously is calmer now during her bath.
So overall I can say that this is a good product, the smell lasts for 2-3 days and is mild.
