Product has improved since last time I got these!
This is the second time I have ordered these mattress pads. I received two as gifts when my first child was born. They worked as advertised, but I was a little disappointed with the sewing quality. Originally, they were only serged (overlocked) together around the edges, which led them to get floppy after they were washed and they didn’t really lay flat under the Quick Zip top sheet. This time when I opened the package, I was very pleased to see that they now come with a neatly finished outer edge. They still keep my new baby’s mattress clean, and now they stay beautifully flat under the top sheet. I liked the product before, but now they are worth five stars because of the improvement in quality.

Works perfectly with the quick zip sheets. I also like that this pad does not contain that plasticy (yes I made that word up) lining on the inside. Those type of mattress covers always end up getting stuck together after a few washes and have to be thrown out. This is a great pad and is totally waterproof.

Does not zip in, lays on top of mattress
The mattress pad is not made by Quickzip, it’s just sold by Quickzip. It does not have a zippered edge to incorporate it into the sheets system like I thought it did. Instead it lays on top of the mattress and then the sheets are zipped up on top of the mattress pad. Still, the size fits well with the mattress and sheets.So far I haven’t had any problems with this mattress pad, and I’m going to buy a couple more so I can have extras for when one needs washing.

Great, absoebant and easy to clean
Love these on top of my sons crib mattress so I don’t have to remove a fitted cover to wash when he leaks through his diaper or gets sick. It also works perfectly with my quickzip sheets.

We have two of these mattress pads and so far these work great (have been using for 10.5 weeks). While the price may be a little more than others, I love how these feel and when our little guy has had leaks or spit up, these catch the wetness and stop it from getting to the mattress.Also super easy to wash and dry – one dry cycle does the trick!Highly recommend!

Does your kid pull off their sheet? Get QuickZip. And if your kid is still potty training, don’t forget the waterproof pad.
My kid would pull traditional sheets off constantly and, being autistic, it’s taking us a bit longer on potty training. My favorite thing about these sheets is I was able to fit, not only their recommended waterproof pad, but an additional water proof sheet. I can’t even tell if my kid has tried to pull them off. They are soft and comfortable. I have four stars because I would love to see some prints like Disney and Pixar characters. Gihibli Characters. He’s four and loves that stuff. But other than that these sheets are amazing.

Poor Quality Originally / QuickZip Sent Replacements
UPDATE:A customer service representative reached out to us and told us that we must have received an errant batch. She replaced the pads. The replacements were much better but still did not wash up as well as another more expensive version of this pad.ORIGINAL REVIEW:This is a terrible product. First, the ‘natural’ color shows through the white QuickZip sheets. When washed the pads become very puffy, which I worry about using with an infant. They can be ironed flat…but who would really want to do that after each wash when you have an infant? They are terribly constructed. Although they are rectangles, the top and bottom pieces are somehow cut horribly crooked. The bottom piece of fabric was 2″ smaller than the top quilted piece leading to extra fullness on the pad top that was visible under the sheet. I love the QuickZip sheets, but this product didn’t appear to be manufactured by the same company (although it is sold by them). Don’t waste your money on these! I ended up throwing them out after unsuccessfully attempting to remake them (because they were cut so wonky) and purchased flat crib mattress pads from another company instead.
