Watch as the Weazel tries to catch the rolling ball! Hours of fun for the kids and pets! Weazel Ball is best used on low carpet or on hardwood floor for ease of movement and prolong batter consumption. Activating the toy: Unscrew the ball by twisting the top half counter-clockwise. Open the batter compartment and install 1 “AA” size 1.5V battery (not included). Make sure to put the negative (-) in first. Slide the battery cover back to hold the battery in position. This battery cover also serves as the ON/OFF switch. The motor will begin to turn when the battery cover is closed. Tightly screw the ball halves together. Set the ball on the floor and let the playful weasel run wild! When you are finished playing with the Weazel Ball, unscrew the ball halves and slide the battery cover to turn the power off.

My Jack Russell Terrier couldn’t kill this to
I gotta say, I never write product reviews, and I had to write this one. I have a CRAZY jack russell – she tears through or gets bored of toys in minutes. We’ve had this for a couple weeks now, and she goes nuts when I turn it on. I actually caught her in my zoom camera, behind me, slinking up onto the dining room table like a little thief to steal it while I wasn’t watching it. (while totally wild, she does have good manners. usually.)The little squirrel tail only lasted a day or so – it’s attached to the ball with the plastic thingies they use to attach tags to clothes. so it didn’t stand a chance. But the actual ball part of this is remarkably sturdy. She has smashed it into walls, drug it down the concrete sidewalk, dropped it down stairs and it keeps working. I have no idea how. I have to open it up to turn it on because the switch broke off. It’s totally mangled inside, but somehow still works. This is the best dog toy I’ve ever purchased.

Poor choice for dogs
Plastic eyes are a chocking hazard for our puppy, attachment of âweaselâ to the ball didnât last for more than a few days, and on/off switch broke in a week. Save your money or have low expectations.

Overall: Not durable but worth the buy (pros/cons reviewed)
TLDR: Works for the intended purpose of keeping my puppy occupied and intrigued but I don’t expect it to last long.Pros: I was searching for a moving toy for my 3 lb puppy. This is great since she is a terrier and loves to chase rodent toys. It moves continuously and in different patterns to keep my pup on her toes. The rodent is a bit wimpy and would not last for most dogs (again, mine is only 3lbs) but my pup loves to chew on it. The ball is hard plastic and holds a single AA battery motor.Cons: The hard plastic ball would easily be destroyed by a larger dog especially those that destructive chew. For small dogs, it is impossible to grip – I would prefer some soft material cover or little tags sticking out of it for my pup to grab on to other than the rodent. The rodent is cheap and not designed for dogs as it has plastic eyeballs that could easily be chewed off. Lastly, the only thing holding the rodent to the ball is a plastic i-shaped tag tie that retail stores use to pin price tags to their clothes… not the best if you intend to play tug-a-war with you dog.Overall, don’t expect much but if you are looking for a toy that plays back and aren’t concerned your dog with rip it to shreds, this isn’t a bad place to start.

Not great for large dogs
I purchased this because I thought it would be fun for my 2 dogs to chase around. I’ve rated it 4 stars because they did have ALOT of fun chasing it, but they quickly ripped the weazel off of it once they got used to the “wiggle”, Fun toy, but the weazel is only held on by a thin tag fastener (the kind they use to price tags on clothing).. But for the time they did have it – they loved it. I will try to reconnect the furry part with something else that may be stronger.

Great toy for an active dog
This is a great toy for small to mid-sized dogs, it will wear them out. My dog played so hard with this toy we had to monitor the dogs time with the toy: We were worried the dog might have a heart attack if not monitored.

Not as powerfull as the original
We had a weasel ball back in the late 2000’s/early2010’s. Wanted to get a new one to entertain our new furry friend. This one is nowhere near as powerful as it does not move very well on a short-height carpet. Even on the tiles parts of the house, this version of the weasel ball is very lackluster in its ability to roll, and our dog loses interest in it almost immediately – he looks at it as if he is wondering what it is trying to do.

I have a 17 pound Shih Tzu who loves interactive toys. I bought this on a whim and when it arrived, it looked so flimsy (weasel is attached to the ball with price tag fasteners) that I left it in the box for 2 months before finally giving it to my dog on a rainy day. He LOVES it!! He loves that it goes around and around in a circle and does not wander off. He loves that it moves, but doesn’t make noise. He loves that he can pick the ball up by the weasel. It’s one of his favorite toys and gives him plenty of interactive play time for less than $10.00. I definitely wouldn’t give this to chewers as they could easily destroy the ball and get to the battery. But for dogs like mine, it’s a winner.

Piece of junk
The battery holder was so hard to get through the screw was stripped. I had to pry it open and the casing that holds the AAA battery was so tight. The battery didnât almost even fit in the cylinder casing. It was extremely hard to get the damn thing to work. The weasel is held on by two plastic tag holders, which one of them is already pulled out so weâll see how long it lasts for the weasel to be attachedAnd my dog wonât even play with a toy he took a few looks at it, jumped at it barked at it and that was it. He doesnât play with it anymore and heâs about ready to tear the weasel right off the ball may as well just have the weasel and gotten rid of the ball.I was so disappointed because the toy looks so cool. Iâve been looking at it for years and I finally buy the damn thing and itâs a hunk of junk.
