I never ever thought I would purchase a sound machine. This is compact itâs just perfect. Thereâs no words to describe it! I have to sleep with a fan on! Always. Since I was like 12 yrs old! I ran across this item and the price was perfect! The directions are very easy to follow. Plus you can also extend the warranty by 24 months if you email the company your order number from Amazon, which I thought was fabulous. It has so many different sounds, I was blown away! It even has a airplane sound. I believe there are five different sounds for each series. Such as the fan sound, there are five different type of fan sounds. I believe 20 sounds in all. When I use to travel to my ex mother in laws house, I knew she did not have a fan. I would have to bring a small one with me. I also travel out of state to visit my grown daughters, if I stay over night at a hotel while driving to their state, I never have a fan! Well this is a game changer. Itâs so compact you can just place it in your suitcase and youâre good to go. Iâm so happy I bought this! I did tell the company when I sent them an email to extend my warranty since I was with the Air Force one of my favorite sounds are military jets once you live in military housing you get use to the sound of jets constantly flying over your house so thatâs like a fan to me, hearing the sound of F-16s and F-35s flying over oneâs house. I asked them on the next one they release, if they could add that sound and also trains! I live very close to Canadian pacific in Canadian national railyardsâ¦but unfortunately, itâs in the back of my house, and my bedroom is in the front of the house, so I really canât hear them. But I love the sound of them! This would make a perfect gift for anyone or for yourself. If youâre thinking about purchasing a sound machine, this oneâs perfect I would not pass this one up. I am very happy that I came across this excellent product! P.S. I no longer need to use my fan to fall asleep. This sound machine does a perfect job!

Can’t sleep without it now
I bought one of these two years ago to travel with and liked it so much that it became a nightstand staple. I just bought a 2nd one to travel with so the other one can stay by my bed, It is small enough to fit easily in my luggage and it helps drown out noise for better sleep. The only problem is that it does not default to ON after a power outtage/breaker trip so if the power flickers overnight I wake up because the sound machine is not on….LOL

The best simple sound machine
This is my second purchase of this sound machine and i LOVE it (my first one got water damage, my fault lol)! This is the best sound machine if youâre looking for something simple. I love that it doesnât have any lights on it and it doesnât have 400 different sounds which i think wouldâve been excessive for me. It has an automatic turn off that you can use with 30/60/90 minutes or you can leave it on all night. The sounds are super clear and high quality and the volume level has a huge range. It also has saved your last sound, volume level, and timer so all you have to do is turn it on and it will use the previous one. I love how small and sleek it is. I literally couldnât recommend this enough!!

Good for the price
I bought this because I Hage chronic insomnia and moved into an apartment complex with lots of noise. It’s a very cheap solution to my problem. And overall it does work quite nicely. The volume is loud enough if I put it next to my bed on my night stand. The noises to choose from are great, I ended up choosing the fan noise and while it’s not exactly like a fan, it’s close enough and you get used to it. My only two issues are…My cat knocks the cord out of the wall sometimes, and every single time I have to redo the settings. It doesn’t have any way to remember settings (that I could find anyway)The other is that the noise is on a loop, that lasts maybe an hour. It will automatically restart the loop, but it’s not perfectly seemless. Meaning, there is about a half second where nothing will play before it starts up again. It’s a such short period of time that it’s barely noticeable, but it’s enough to jar you. Fortunately I did manage to get used to it, it took about a week or two, now I don’t notice it. But right in the very beginning, that half second of no noise was enough to wake me up.Other than those tiny things, it’s a great machine. Simple, cheap and effective.

I picked this up on sale at $16. Jump on it at this price, however it’s worth much more. It’s powered via a USB-C connection on the back, and a USB-C to USB-A cord, plus a brick to place in a wall type outlet. This is all in the box, but I use my own longer cord in order to reach my surge protector. There’s no internal battery, but I won’t miss it. For sleep purposes I wouldn’t want it unplugged.It’s plenty small enough for travel and carry on luggage. It gets loud enough, and in fact any louder could be distracting. The controls have a quality feel. There’s four sound types offered, fan, general white noise, nature, and music. There’s five selections each for fan and white noise, and seven for both nature and music for a total of 24. There’s a separate button for each type, which you press to cycle through the selections. I mainly bought it for the nature sounds, but the general white noise offerings are now my favorites. There’s three timer modes on the back, 30, 60, and 90 minutes, or simply leave these off for continuous play.I’m hugely satisfied, but will it last? So far so good in that regard, but if there are any issues I promise to come back and update this review.

We live on a pretty busy road fire station half a mile south and ambulance about a mile east; our neighbors across the backyard often party into the wee hours, so even with the windows closed it is hard to get to sleep sometimes and stay asleep. I have been using ear plugs but sometimes the sound of me breathing resonates in my head and if I don’t change them frequently I get ear aches. So I thought I would try a white noise generator.This little unit is great.I received it the day after I ordered it so I tried it with a 30 min power nap in the afternoon, using the rainfall setting. Very soothing, very restful. That night I tried it, again with the rainfall and I got to sleep fairly quickly and back to sleep when I awoke in the night (nature call).The unit is well constructed and the controls are very straightforward. Each of the 4 groupings of sounds cycles as you press each of 4 buttons. When the cycle repeats you get a beep to let you know you are back at the start. There is a timer on the back 30/60/90 min I have not used this. If you don’t set a timer it runs continuously until you turn it off. The power cord is a proprietary USB cable… USB on one end pole jack on the other end…you should be able to run it from a powerbank… there is a USB wall plug. You can plug in head phones. The sound quality is good and with a variety of sounds to choose from you should be able to find one that suits you.

This is having a draw back as, if it is switched off from plug, the last selected tune won’t be remembered. So need to select the tune again after switching on.
