The indicator light shines distinct colors to indicate the degree of charge.The Afuosy folks’ design specifications resulted in a high-quality machine built with high quality materials. Speaking of specifications – this machine has the following certifications – a testament to its build quality:1. An RoHS certification, or Restriction of Hazardous Substances certification, meaning that it is free of hazardous substances and meets strict environmental standards.2. White Noise Sound Machine By the Afuosy Store
I ordered the White Noise Sound Machine By the Afuosy Store. The product arrived in a giftable box. There is an instruction pamphlet and USBC cable included but no power source (as is normal these days). I desperately wish that a full list of the sounds in order had been included. I am also not a fan of the volume knob, it does not ever stop spinning so you have no idea when you have reached the top and bottom volume. Perhaps this isnt a problem in most households but I am severly hearing impaired and so when I am setting the sound machine for someone else I have no idea if I am making it too loud or too soft on my own. When I at least have an idea of relative volume I can learn which settings to use in which situations. Also, the knob just sticks out way further than it needs to do which is a perplexing choice for a machine that would otherwise be great for travel. If the knob were streamlined or better yet just buttons like the other functions, it would make this much more packable.Now on to what I do like….that it is rechargeable and has a great stated batter life! The other sound machine I tried needs to be plugged in to play which isnt ideal for our situation. I like its general, rectangular shape, knob excepted. I kind of both like and dislike the lack of light. My husband does not like light intrusion at all so I minimally need one where the light can be turned off but it is nice to have the light option at times. Lastly, I really like the melodies that it plays. They are relaxing. I also like that it remembers the prior selections so you dont have to scroll to get back to what you want.For around the current price of $15 I would say that there are enough features that warrant trying this product if you need a rechargeable white noise machine, unless one of my cons is a deal breaker for you.
