This book is one in an extended collection that you can purchase individually. Very nice for a mom & son bonding moment. This is something for mom to read to baby or younger child while they are sitting together in a quiet moment. It’s not really the type of thing you’d want to let a toddler “read” by themselves – the pages are fairly thick stock and decent quality but they would tear easily if pulled at too hard.Nice illustrations of a variety of animal mothers and sons sharing little minor life lessons written in sweet prose. We got this to include in a baby shower gift basket for a first time mom – she loved it!BOTTOM LINE: Good quality, very giftable. Recommended.
