Excellent Cat Carrier, well-made, convenient straps, easy to close/open
We received this “Zavothy TSA Airline Approved Soft-Sided Pet Carrier for Small to Medium Cats and Puppies” in exchange for a Vine review. It took no time to unbox it, attach the shoulder straps (it also has a carrying strap already on it), inspect it by zipping it up, and feeling the semi-plush, removable cushioned bottom and are so pleased. It exceeded our expectations for a currently under $19 cat/small animal carrying case. Oh, and its TSA approved! We’ve never traveled by air with a pet but thats nice to know for those who do. It has 3 places where you can unzip to open it if you’re trying to wrangle a mad cat into it: the top, one of the long sides, or one of the ends. The long side opposite of the zippered opening has 2 deep pockets in case you want to put a receipt, car keys, wallet or such. There’s also a pocket on one of the ends that’s quite roomy. The carry handles come together and have a hook and loop closure piece so you have a “handle” so you don’t constantly have to fiddle with 2 straps holding 2 straps together while moving. There’s also a handy shoulder strap you can choose to use or not. The pieces the shoulder strap hook onto are hard plastic and I wish they were metal. That would give a better sense of confidence – especially when traveling and having to walk lots – that the straps wouldn’t be a strain and potentially break the hard plastic. They look well made enough that I’m not taking off points for that because the listing description clearly says this is for small to medium cats or puppies only up to 15 lbs. I wouldn’t put a crazy rambunctious large breed pup in there like a lab or Great Dane but a tiny breed should be fine. Another thing I’d suggest to the seller is to make the inside plush cushion piece able to be removed from the hard base bottom that its sewn around so that it could easily be thrown in the wash. As it is now it seems you’d just be able to only spot wash it. Overall though very happy with this carrier!

Good for the price, a little flimsy
We have a sweet little neighborhood stray kitty that has decided we are her fmaily now. SHe has a little gunk in her eye so I’ve been meaning to take her to the vet and needed somehting to take her but didn’t want to spend a lot of money. Wehn this cat carrier arrived, it was flat in the package, which is great so that it can store in a very small area when we aren’t using it. I would say it’s a littel flimsy and the materials don’t feel super high quality (a little cheap), but honestly for the price point its not bad. As long as it holds up for the occasional trip to the vet or to go in the car, it should be fine. I don’t know how well it would stand up to a commercial air trip, might get a littel beat up.The make it stand up without falling over, both ends must be zipped up. I was hoping I could just zip one end and leve the other side open so my cat could sniff and explore and trust it a little before she had to go inside, but it falls in on itself. There is another smaller side door that you can eitehr leave open so kitty can climb in or out, of you can use it to reach in and pet your cat or put things in and out of the bag.the other nice features are a plush fleecy florring for kitty to sit on, as well as a tether that you can attach to theri collar so they don’t escape when you open the bag.Overall a good design for the price.

Compact carrier for the average size kitty
This carrier arrived in a flat package, which confused me. It ends up that it folds flat and you just zip both ends when it’s time to use it. The doors are framed in a heavy duty wire, so once zipped, this carrier will keep its shape.We have three other carriers, but now have 4 cats. We wanted to be sure we have carriers for all the fuzzies if evacuation became necessary.Thankfully, our cats range in size from 12 pounds down to 5 pounds. Our biggest boi is pretty mellow and has been known to sleep in a cat carrier, so I was able to convince him to go into this one. He fits with room to spare. He can see out, we can see in – which are the most important considerations for this fella.On all fronts, this is a winner. Bonus points for the easy storage element!

Great for the car ride to the vet
Although this carrier is listed as TSA approved, I donât ever take my pets on a plane. However, it works great for trips to the vet or groomer. It is well made of sturdy polyester canvas and scratch proof black mesh. There are 3 separate zippered mesh openings so your pet is easily put in or out of the carrier. The mesh material gives plenty of air flow, and also lets your pet see out so they arenât so anxious. There are several handy pockets on the exterior for supplies or treats. A removable plush blanket makes the bottom of the carrier feel cozy and warm for your fur baby. It would also work for non-furry pets as well, as long as they donât weigh over 15 pounds or so. The carrier has 2 carry handles that have a padded comfort cover, or you can attach the removable shoulder strap for hands free carrying. I really like the gray color too. The fur babies love it and are less stressed in this carrier.
