They love it!
The schnauzer sisters are all about this toy. They wear themselves out competing for it. This is their second one in 6 months. The first one is in the dog toy hospital waiting for a little repair. The rope is very sturdy but they like to rip at the little monkey body a bit.

Favorite favorite toy⦠But has a few flaws
I love it. It keeps them busy⦠But this is my second one. And they both fail in the same places the face on the sloth is embroidered and itâs a hard spot on both of them. They immediately ripped the face apart and pulled out the stuffing, which wasnât a big deal, the rope is nice and thick, but after playing with it for a short while the rope was torn apart. I think the face is more for human appeal than dogs. It doesnât need that hard spot. And maybe a better quality rope wouldâve done well. I buy lots of rope toys and they hold up significantly better than this does. I will send it back for one more replacement, but I have a feeling the same thing is going to happen.

Puppy destroyed it
We had fun with it the first few days, but under a week of playing with my 4 month old golden retriever, it ripped. Heâs not even a super aggressive puppy. The monkey ripped open and stuffing went everywhere. My puppy had fun but I did not with cleaning it up. I bought because it was supposed to be a higher quality I thought. ð

This is my dogâs favorite fetch and tug toy ever, and itâs pretty indestructible, although the squeaker did stop working after lots of chewing and the toy living outdoors. My dog hasnât chewed through the rope though, which she usually does almost immediately, so it must be extra tough

I originally was gifted the panda tug 1.5 years ago. It is my lab’s favourite toy by far! He has loved and tugged this thing so much. I wanted to get him another one as it was worn down. Went with the sloth for cost effectiveness. His foster brother destroys toys, and while he’s trying to break this one, he wont be able to break the rope. A phenomenal tug toy that doesn’t hurt to hold!

We bought this same monkey a year ago when we first brought our puppy home! It was way too big back then but still our Mini Golden Doodle played with this same monkey for hours and hours, rolling and looping it around herself! So when we saw this same monkey on Amazon we were delighted and had to get her a new one! The old one is still alive and although itâs had surgery(sewing) a few times itâs still in fairly good shape!We hope this new red monkey holds up just as good as the old one and for $32 we and our little doodle enjoy the entertainment and laughs it has brought us all!!
